NU x iota - Bordeaux

The conversation with Nurit started out of a desire to combine iota’s handwork and contemporary materiality with the color and uniqueness that Nurit brings to her collections.

The bag consists of 18 hand crocheted granny squares. A very familiar element in the crochet world that comes in a variety of sizes and materials, and this time too we wanted to test it.

In the crochet world, granny squares are a lot like building blocks. They can be made in any size and can be used to create a variety of surfaces. Throughout history, since the squares could be crocheted on the go and were made from leftover yarn, they were considered nomadic.
