From the Museum to Your Wall (or Floor): The Official Launch of the "Still Life" Collection
Hi everyone,
Two months ago, the Biennale for Arts and Design opened at MUZA, where we are exhibiting a piece called "Still Life." It's a wall tapestry based on a journalistic image—a piece we absolutely love, not only for its content but just as much for the new technique we developed through it in our studio. This technique allows us to "paint" with knitting, translating complex graphic imagery into textiles, mirroring the intricate mechanism of Jacquard weaving.

Last week, at the Fresh Paint Art Fair, we took this development a step further and unveiled three new rugs in the series, featuring various floral elements alongside geometric compositions. Your amazing reactions at the fair truly moved us, and we knew the moment had come. So, here it is — We are incredibly proud to officially launch the Still Life collection: a series of figurative rugs that bridge art, traditional handcraft, and design innovation.

Although we showcased the rugs strictly on the walls at the art fair (much like traditional tapestries with a strong artistic presence), this collection was born to live life itself — meaning these rugs function perfectly both as wall art and as classic floor coverings.
And the best part? Everything can be customized for you. To ensure the rug weaves seamlessly into the story of your home, all pieces in the collection are available for custom ordering with full flexibility in size and color palettes.

If you want to feel the texture up close, play around with color combinations, and plan your next rug , our studio doors are open. We would love to host you, show you the samples, and think together with you (or your architect/interior designer) about the most accurate match for your space.
We can't wait to see which combinations you choose (we are sure you'll come up with variations we haven't even thought of yet!).
Yours,
The iota Team
