New Collection ——— ROPE
"I discovered the world of climbing about two and a half years ago – a world of chaotic, colorful and sporty aesthetics; a meeting between the raw power of nature and the synthetic language of ropes, pegs and straps. I fell in love with the balance between strength and technique, dealing with fear, with small and calculated steps, with precise planning and with faith in the body. Skilled climbers look as if they are dancing on the wall – and this collection also found a rhythm." Tal Zur
The rope collection was born from a deep dive into the world of climbing and the materials that make it. It brings together strong and durable ropes with delicate hand crochet, and emphasizes the tension between hard and soft, between industrial and handwork. The ropes are made of olefin fibers – a durable, shiny and lightweight material, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. With the help of hand knitting with a single crochet, the industrial material becomes open and airy.
The climber's changing grips – the ways in which he encounters the rope, the wall and himself – are translated in the collection into connections between different textiles and between the knitting hand.
The collection includes rugs, a chair, poufs, and baskets. In each of them, the rope defines the shape and movement. Each item is built from a two-dimensional surface that is transformed into a three-dimensional object through a process of folding, stretching and tying.

In the rope collection, we collaborated with Stratasys, a world leader in 3D printing.
The encounter allowed us to refine details with a high level of finish and in perfect harmony with our products, while at the same time engaging with the tension between innovation and craftsmanship. Similar to the encounter between industrial rope and hand knitting, here too a dialogue is created between technological precision and manual labor.
