The warranty on the products is for two years, subject to reasonable use and in accordance with the instructions for use. No liability shall apply to Iota, during the warranty period, for use that does not comply with the instructions for use and/or is unreasonable. It is your responsibility to check whether the product you purchased is suitable / not suitable for outdoor conditions, according to the instructions for its use.

The dimensions of the products may vary up to 5% since they are made by hand, and the company will not have any responsibility for such deviation.

SWINGS

Assembly
The swings can be easily hung with a jumbo dowel. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the ceiling can withstand the hanging load. The swing can carry a weight of up to 150 kilos and Tarzan swings up to 50 kilos. The company provides a standard locking carabiner for each hanging point only. The customer is solely responsible for installation and hanging.

Height
Our swings are made for ceilings of about 2.85 meters. For adjustment to other ceiling heights, please coordinate with us when placing the order, to check the feasibility. Extensions to high ceilings will in any case have an additional cost.

Maintenance
Remove dust regularly with a brushless vacuum cleaner or a dust brush. The use of chemical cleaning agents may damage the product. Hard stains can be removed with a damp cloth. We recommend oiling the teak seats and accessories of the swing once a year with teak oil using a soft sponge.

For our outdoor swings – we recommend keeping them in storage during the wet season.

SIGNATURE RUGS

iota’s yarns are produced by manual machines, so there may be changes in the colors of the yarns along the carpets. This is especially evident in large carpets. No two rugs are exactly alike.

Cleaning
Rugs should be cleaned regularly with a vacuum cleaner (without the fringes), but never with a rotating brush. Using chemical cleaning agents may damage the product. Try to treat stubborn stains before drying with a damp cloth. Do not wash. Do not bleach. Do not machine dry. Do not iron. Dry cleaning is prohibited. If necessary, use professional (wet) carpet cleaning.

Maintenance
The rugs are the same on both sides, turn them from time to time for even wear.

All Iota products can be ordered by special order and customized according to size, color and more. You are welcome to contact us to schedule an appointment with the designers. As mentioned above, it is not possible to return or exchange orders made by personal order.

OUTDOOR INDOOR COLLECTION + CONTOUR 

The poufs tend to change their shape a little with use and get the shape of sitting. After a while the filling may shrink a little – it may have flattened out because you’ve been sitting on it. You can then refill your iota product with an EPS refill. You can simply leave the existing EPS filling in and mix it in with new beads, so you don’t have to replace the entire filling – a sustainable solution. We do ask you to refill carefully, not to spill anything, and preferably to refill indoors to prevent the beads from ending up in the environment. They may not be toxic, but they’re certainly not yet biodegradable.

Storage and maintenance
In order for the product to last longer, it must be stored when not in use. During the winter, you should store the items in a cool, ventilated and dry place. You can contact us to purchase winter packaging adapted to the products. It is advisable to rotate the products from time to time to produce even wear.

Durability
The products are made of UV-protected textiles and are resistant to sunny conditions. Unlike other outdoor products, the products are not made of plastic, so after washing or raining, make sure that the products are fully dried.

WOVEN RUGS

Cleaning
Vacuum regularly at low power, using a vacuum cleaner without a foaming brush, to prevent sedimentation of debris at the roots of the fibers. Due to the handmade nature of the products, shedding of loose fibers will occur but will diminish over time. Expect the greatest shedding to occur within the first 3-6 months. Spills should be removed immediately; Blot with a clean, unstained cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard-to-remove stains, professional carpet cleaning is recommended.

Maintenance
Direct and continuous exposure to sunlight should be avoided. Do not pull loose ends but cut with scissors to remove them. The carpet should be rotated occasionally to even out the wear.

Store the rug by rolling the front side out and wrapping it in a cloth for protection. Do not fold or store in a sealed plastic bag. It should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated area.
