A crochet rug, which gives a modern interpretation of a classic rug structure, inspired by ancient Persian gardens, which were divided into symmetrical areas by paths or water channels. The division creates a definition of areas within the rug that can guide and define the arrangement of the space around it. From one of the connection lines between the surfaces emerges a knitted flower – which functions as a traditional tassel or fringe.
